As well as revolutionising conventional cosmetics, permanent cosmetic procedures have had outstanding benefits in the paramedical field.
They’re particularly effective for:
If you’ve lost your eyebrows and eyelashes because of alopecia, permanent makeup can be the answer, giving you perfectly shaped eyebrows which frame your face and restore the definition lost.
You can choose either a natural hair stroke effect or a soft pencilled look, depending on what suits your individual needs and tastes.
You can also have a very subtle liner around your eyes, again to restore definition and give the appearance of eyelashes.
Trichotillomania is a condition involving the compulsive pulling out of hair from various parts of the body, but mainly the scalp, eyebrows and eyelashes.
Permanent cosmetics can be of great benefit as they can replicate lost eyebrows using the natural hairstroke effect and also give the appearance of eyelashes, helping restore your confidence and reducing the stress and embarrassment that the resulting bald patches can cause.
If you have scars you feel uncomfortable with I’m keen to help you. I’ll match the colour to your skin tone and apply it to the scar area to match the surrounding area so that your scars seem to disappear. My techniques are suitable for most skin-tones and nationalities.
We’ll need to arrange a consultation to assess the extent of scarring and discuss your expectations and the results achievable.
Areola and nipple
If you’ve undergone breast surgery and have lost a nipple as a result, my paramedical permanent cosmetics can give the appearance of a natural looking nipple and areola by using clever shading techniques, giving you back your confidence.
Do ask me for examples of the work I’ve done.
Covering up VitiligoVitiligo (or leukoderma) is a chronic skin disorder that causes loss of pigment, resulting in irregular pale patches of skin.
This may vary from one or two white spots on the skin to large areas of de-pigmentation. For some people, although not for everyone, the de-pigmentation is progressive. Permanent makeup can help cover up and fill-in these light patches of skin by colour-matching your skin tone and evening out your colour.
Please feel free to discuss this with me.
If you were born with a cleft lip or palate, you’ll have had reconstructive surgery to repair the opening of the cleft, and you may be managing lips with an unbalanced shape. Full lip colour can be applied to reshape the lip and cover the scars from cleft lip repair.
Please book an appointment with me for a free consultation to discuss the treatments available.
Laser tattoo removal
I can help you get rid of your old or unwanted tattoos with minimal side effects. Treatment with the laser varies from patient to patient depending on your age, size, and type of tattoo (amateur or professional). The colour of your skin, as well as the depth to which the tattoo pigment extends, will also affect the results.
Hair loss sufferers may feel inadequate, unattractive and old before their time, leading to a loss of confidence and poor self-esteem. My solution uses thousands of tiny tattooed dots and can give an incredibly realistic impression of short hair on a receding or bald scalp.
If you have a condition that’s had an impact on your appearance, medical tattooing can really help you feel more confident.
